My Favorite Time Travel tv series is Dr Who….as for this, if sam nor al arent in it there is no point in making a movie at all.
I would have to say the original Time Machine. I also like Quantum Leap and Back To The Future films.

Scott Bakula breathed life into the character of Sam Beckett.
Dean Stockwell gave life to the character of AL.
I love the series.
So it is 20 months after this video was made and there is no mention ANYWHERE about a Quantum Leap movie.
Source Code was not the movie version. If it was they did a terrible job of it. But it wasn’t soooo….where is it in production?

I used to watch a tv show back in the 60’s called Time Tunnel. I would have to say Back to the Future and Quantum Leap are my all time favorites. Looking forward to the movie.
@jon I thought quantum had to do with probability, not time. I watch nova (Fabric of the cosmos to be exact) and they were talking about the supposed “quantum world” where everything is left to chance. They didn’t say anything about time.
I am with you all the way on this one. The time excelerater has got to be on the money as well as Gijit, with time travil therys out the wazoo.

Doctor Who is th greatess time travleing based TV show ever.
Up n till that point he was not willing or more like did not know he was choosing to leap…but several episodes he got to go home…so in a subconscious way he was leaping himself!

I always thought that at the end of the final episode the bartender enlightens Sam that he is the one with the power to leap himself home. Sam, out of his friendship to Al and regret for not saving his marriage to Beth before, decides to leap back and put that right in the knowledge that he is sacrificing his leap home as the moment he leaps again the “Swiss cheese” memory will make him forget he has the power to control his own destiny. True pal eh?

I Quantum Leap everytime I go to sleep, is that normal?
In the source code movie he was only able to leap into 1 persons body and back to his own repeatedly .. but it did have the same concept of putting right what went wrong they definately took inspiration from the quatum leap series for the source code movie….. I hope the quantum leap movie does it justice i hear it`s the same writer of the show who is doing the script for the movie and Sam Beckett and AL will be making cameo appearances in the movie.
